The SWING 2D/RFID by AURES is an innovative multi-use, multi-feature Mobile POS concept developed to meet the needs of the omni-channel, mobile, point-of-sale & service environment.
This highly resistant tablet offers a wide range of features and an adaptable, ergonomic and avantgarde design. The system is a unique professional B2B solution (available in over 6 product configurations) specially designed for EPOS environments. It is supplied with its exclusive AURES’ POGO system(1) – a magnetic attachment and connection module (with integrated motorised security latches), enabling easy centering and positioning on the various mounts (docking station, wall and pole mounting).
The SWING’s exclusive roaming mode - which consists of a network emulation of local ports (via the Docking Station or Light Box) is another AURES feature and innovation;
it allows the tablet to remotely visualize, pilot and control all POS peripherals, even in a mobile situation (ticket printers, cash drawers, payment terminals, keyboards, contactless card readers, scanners, etc.).
- Desk unit configuration: the tablet props against a built-in flexible arm on the back, turning it into a compact desk unit that fits into any space.
- Mobile configuration: for easy, ergonomic use, AURES has designed a slightly convex tablet with an off-centre elastic strap (black or white) distributing the weight evenly between your arm and forearm. The specific bi-material shell - resistant thermoplastic polyurethane combining the best features of rubber and plastic - is ultra-soft to the touch for more comfortable use and highly drop resistant.
With additional POGO system (options)
- Wall mount configuration: the SWING is wall mounted and can be used for all checkout operations, sales assistance (product and price display terminals) and POS digital signage.
- Mini-pole configuration: same as above.
- Docking Station configuration: the tablet rests on its charging cradle – which has several input/output ports, forming a complete, ultra-compact point-of-sale terminal permanently connected to all POS equipment and peripherals (POS terminals, multiple touch-screens, interactive kiosks, smartphones, etc).
Other Peripheral
- Light BOX configuration: when wall or pole mounted, the SWING can be connected to the Light BOX, an independent small box/module to be placed under the sales counter (for additional connectivity with other peripherals).
